We’re still weeks away from finding out the Vancouver Canucks’ 2019-20 schedule, but we know where they’ll play for at least one game next season.
The Canucks will travel to Salt Lake City for a neutral site game, hosted by the Los Angeles Kings on September 21.

The Canucks were the visitors at last year’s “Salt Lake Shootout,” as well. No word yet on whether the game will be televised, however, last year’s Salt Lake visit was the only game — preseason or regular season — to not be shown on TV in Vancouver.
The trip to Salt Lake is just two hours and 20 minutes, making it about as short as any other flight the Canucks make to American NHL cities. The game will be played at Vivint Smart Home Arena, the 18,300-seat home of the NBA’s Utah Jazz.

The Salt Lake game likely won’t be the only neutral site game for the Canucks, who previously announced that they would play one preseason game per year in a British Columbia city outside Vancouver. They hosted the Arizona Coyotes at Prospera Place in Kelowna on September 29 last year.
Next season promises to be a special one in Vancouver, as the Canucks celebrate their 50th anniversary season, with festivities being kicked off with the NHL Draft at Rogers Arena on June 21-22.
