You can now buy Messi tickets as part of Whitecaps four-game packs
The Vancouver Whitecaps have released a new ticket package that includes the chance to see Lionel Messi at BC Place. The Golden Era Pack includes tickets to four marquee matchups this year, including the game against Inter Miami CF on May 25.
This special ticket package starts at $247 and gets you in the building for the following four matches. This is currently the only way to secure tickets for these games, besides becoming a Whitecaps FC season member.
- March 2 vs. Charlotte FC (home opener)
- May 4 vs. Austin FC (50th-anniversary game)
- May 25 vs. Inter Miami CF (Messi visits)
- August 24 vs. LAFC (playoff rematch)
While many fans will be most excited to see the legendary Messi take on the Whitecaps, the other three games included in the Golden Era Pack are also big matches in their own right.
The game against Austin FC on May 4 is nearly exactly 50 years from May 5, 1974, when the Whitecaps played their first game.
The battle against LAFC on August 24 will be a chance for the Whitecaps to avenge last year’s postseason loss. They were eliminated last season after a controversial game that saw coach Vanni Sartini eventually suspended for his postgame comments.

“As we have said many times, this is going to be our biggest season yet as we celebrate the past, present, and future of Vancouver Whitecaps FC,” said Axel Schuster, Whitecaps FC chief executive officer, in a press release. “We are greatly anticipating our 50th-Anniversary Match to celebrate our alumni and the rich history of our club. We also know that there is great anticipation for all of these games, so we encourage fans to secure their tickets as soon as possible.”
It was revealed that Messi was scheduled to visit BC Place just before Christmas. The 36-year-old joined the MLS last season, not long after winning the 2022 FIFA World Cup with Argentina.
Single-game tickets for all of the matches at BC Place will be made available by the Whitecaps at a later date. For another option, you can become a Whitecaps FC season member and claim a spot at all home games for this season starting at $400.
