Vancouver cafe quietly closes its doors after four years of operation

It’s been a rough year for the restaurant industry, and unfortunately, another spot has closed its doors: Cafe & Life Co.
While a formal announcement has yet to be made online, the cafe has quietly closed its Vancouver location with a sign posted on its window.
“After much thought, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our Vancouver location,” wrote the cafe.

Cafe & Life Co. is best known for its classic cafe offerings alongside some more unique options, like its Uji Matcha Latte and Mont Blanc Latte. It also operates a Richmond location, which remains open, and also serves some substantial eats, including Beef Bourguignon, House Marinated Smoked Salmon Benny, Mussel Chowder, and so much more.
The cafe first opened its Vancouver outpost in 2021, and then in 202,4 it expanded with its Richmond location.
“We’re deeply grateful for the love and support this neighbourhood has shown us over the years â every visit, every shared moment means so much,” added Cafe & Life Co.
The cafe also shared that this isn’t goodbye, but just a new chapter for the team.
