Man who went missing from hospital found dead in Burnaby: RCMP

A man who went missing from a hospital in New Westminster earlier this week has been found dead, according to police.

Gavin Deloes, 42, was reportedly last seen on May 24, at approximately 7:30 am, at the Royal Columbian Hospital.

The Burnaby man was described as 5’11” with a slim build, short black hair, and scar between his eyes. He was wearing a blue hospital gown and slippers at the time of his disappearance.

On Thursday afternoon, police found Deloes in Burnaby, passed away. The RCMP say that there is “no indication of foul play” in relation to his death and in a police statement, extended their “sincere condolences to the family for their loss.”
