5 easy breakfast spots near the Santa Claus Parade in Vancouver

Get out your mittens and toques, Vancouver, because The Santa Claus Parade is back in town this weekend.

Santa is hitting the streets of Vancouver on Sunday, December 1 at noon, and we want you to be prepared – AKA not hangry and desperate watching the festivities on the streets.

Over 300,000 spectators are expected to crowd around the parade route this year, which starts at West Georgia and Broughton Street and ends at Howe and Davie Street.

To ensure your hunger doesn’t get the best of you, head to one of these open-early and relatively cheap spots near the parade so you can grab a filling breakfast beforehand – because nothing puts you in the holiday spirit more than stuffing yourself with waffles and coffee.
