The Vancouver Art Gallery's new restaurant is officially open (PHOTOS)

The Vancouver Art Gallery’s new eatery is officially open, and just in time for the holiday season too.

1931 Gallery Bistro welcomed customers in for the first time yesterday, offering them a selection of eats for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a revitalized space.

The new 70-seat spot will have some grab-and-go options as well as a summer patio for patrons. The space can also be booked for large parties and private events.
