Police searching for 27-year-old murder suspect in Metro Vancouver

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is searching for 27-year-old Brandon Nathan Teixeira in connection with the murder of a Surrey man.

Teixeira was charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of 28-year-old Nicholas Khabra. The incident took place on October 23, 2017, in Surrey.

A warrant has been issued for Teixeira’s arrest.

Teixeira is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • 178 cm (5’10)
  • 73 kg (161 LB)
  • Brown hair
  • Snake tattoo on left side of chest
  • Sleeve tattoo on left arm

According to Cpl. Frank Jang of IHIT, Teixeira is “extremely violent and poses a significant risk to public safety.”

“If you see him, please do not approach him but call 911 immediately,” Jang said.
