Woman's body found in South Vancouver residential neighbourhood

Vancouver police are in South Vancouver investigating after a woman’s body was found. 

VPD said it received a call just after 6 am Wednesday when a resident found the 49-year-old woman’s body near Rosemont Drive and East 57th Avenue.

Crime scene tape was seen in a residential neighbourhood near Fraserview Golf Course.

“The cause of her death is under investigation,” VPD said but, “Based on the initial investigation, detectives believe this was a targeted incident.”

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
