FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
It’s time to take your bike in for that long-awaited tune-up as Bike To Work Week returns to Metro Vancouver next week.
In addition to being an environmentally-friendly social movement, the week-long event offers “celebration stations” for riders to enjoy free drinks, snacks, quick bike tune-ups, and a number of prizes.
All participants receive a complimentary 24-hour pass for Mobi by Shaw Go during Bike to Work Week – a great chance to try out Vancouver’s bike-share.
There will be over 80 celebration stations through the course of the event, with a large number available in the downtown Vancouver area alone.

Some of the highly-coveted prizes include new bikes and a trip for two to Portugal. To enter the draw for the prizes, riders must simply register online.
According to the event website, the logged trips from riders who register also help the organizers “work with local leaders to improve cycling infrastructure in [the community].”
Presented by Exodus Travels, the event takes place from Monday, May 28 to Friday, June 3. A free wrap-up BBQ is being held on Friday, June 1 from 4 to 7 pm. A “bike-in movie night” will also take place on Sunday, June 3 from 8 to 11 pm and feature the free outdoor screening of Space Jam.
