'Big Day BBQ' to kick off weekly tailgate pop-up on September 8
Summer may be ending, but our hunger for delicious meat certainly is not. So, it’s a good thing Big Day BBQ has us sorted for the next four months.
The popular local BBQ purveyor is launching a Sunday Throwdown pop-up series, which means a delicious tailgate party is coming our way every Sunday at The American (926 Main Street).

Kicking off on September 8 at 10 am (meat slicing starts at 11 am), this party runs until December 29, the last day of the NFL 2019 regular season.
As always with Big Day, expect the eats to be absolutely epic and paired with an ever-changing selection of local craft beer.

Sports fans can enjoy a classic spread of 14-hour smoked brisket, Memphis-style ribs, pulled pork, and a variety of sides like Tex-Mex Pasta Salad, Smokey Slaw, and Pit Beans.
Rotating event specials like half chickens, beef ribs, and Frito pies will also be available on select days (these will be announced via Instagram closer to the game day).
As if we needed another reason to go to The American and stuff our faces, football fan or not, this food event should definitely be a must-hit for your fall/winter calendar.
