Drink hyperlocal: Sausage hot spot Bestie debuts "2km Beer List"
Bestie, the maker of Chinatown’s best currywurst, just revealed a nifty “2km beer list.”
The German restaurant has always been a fantastic source for serving local brews to thirsty Vancouverites, but now they have a specific beer menu composed only of beverages in close proximity – around 2km – to the East Pender eatery.

This special beer list includes Powell Street Pilsner, Strange Fellows Witbier, Luppolo West Coast Farmhouse Ale, Steamworks Flagship IPA, Strathcona Dark Mild, and a Seasonal Tap from Brassneck. This is an ideal selection because nothing goes better with local craft beer than a fresh Sausage & Sauerkraut or a Leberkäse Melt in our opinion.
This menu is a unique way to shine a well-deserved spotlight on the awesome craft brewing scene in East Vancouver. Between the local selection at Bestie and the new East Village Brewery & Distillery Passport, we don’t know where we should start sipping first!
