There could be some relief on the way for the wildfires raging across the province as rain is expected to fall in several regions across BC this weekend.
According to The Weather Network, there will be a 70% chance of rain on Saturday and Sunday in Vancouver, which could bring ease to the smoke and haze currently blanketing the city.
The Weather Network is forecasting a similar scenario in Abbotsford with a chance of 60% and 70% of rain predicted to fall on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

There is also rain on the way for the BC Interior — where hundreds of crews are battling forest fires.
In Kelowna, The Weather Network predicts a 60% chance of rainfall for Saturday and Sunday.
And in Kamloops, there is also a high chance of rainfall over the weekend.
According to the BC Wildfire Service, there are currently 444 wildfires burning in BC. So the weekend rainfall is definitely a welcome change to the current dry, smoky conditions.
