Located in Victoria’s Inner Harbour, “Canada’s Castle on the Coast” is renowned for its stunning architecture and famous traditional afternoon tea. The Fairmont Empress has been an iconic landmark since 1908.

The luxurious hotel chain also saw its Fairmont Pacific Rim place at number six on the list.

B.C. has recently garnered numerous accolades, ranging from Vancouver being the only Canadian city to crack the list of world’s most livable places to an iconic museum at the University of British Columbia placing among the top 25 in a new world ranking.

A historic B.C. hotel in a Tudor mansion was named one of the world’s best accommodations, and Vancouver was crowned one of the most popular summer travel destinations, according to Skyscanner’s latest Smarter Summer Report.
