Bauer Hockey is the latest company that’s doing something to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Canadian-founded hockey manufacturer has announced that they’re repurposing their facilities to make shields so that “medical professionals battling COVID-19 can safely continue to help those most vulnerable.”
Among the products that Bauer produces are visors, used as eye protection on hockey helmets. The company shared some pictures of their new face shields, saying “Right now, we’re all on the same team.”
Protection that allows athletes to give everything for their team is our heritage.

Needless to say, the response on social media was overwhelmingly positive.
Thank you. This will help us in our fight to stop COVID-19. My sons hockey season was cut short. This will make him and his team proud. ❤️🇨🇦

My brother is doctor in a major metropolitan area hospital, already working with COVID patients, and I worry about him daily. I cannot emphasize this enough: THANK YOU.

Thank you Bauer.
Also, when this is over, that would like sick on a hockey helmet. Just saying.
