New cocktail spot "Chickadee" to launch in Vancouver this week

Jun 11 2020, 6:59 pm

A new cocktail spot is launching in Vancouver this week: Chickadee will be opening on Friday, June 12 in Chinatown.

This new concept comes to us from the awesome team behind Juke Fried Chicken and Beetbox. It will be taking over the dining room in Juke’sĀ 182 Keefer Street space.

Serving handcrafted cocktails from the mind of Juke Bar Manager Sabrine Dhaliwal,Ā Chickadee will offer small groups of patrons an array of beverages that can be ordered using an online platform and a downloadable app.

Folks can look forward to heading into this spot to check out Dhaliwal’s stellar sips or, they can enjoy a build-your-own-cocktail based on personal preferences.

Described as “Juke’s Cocktail Cousin and Partner In Crime” Chickadee will be openĀ Tuesdays to Sundays from 5 pm til late, but Juke’s grub will be available to-go starting at 11 am on those dates.

ā€œWeā€™ve been working on this concept for a while, and the recent reimagining of dining rooms throughout the industry gave us the perfect opportunity to fine-tune and launch Chickadee,ā€ says Tisdall.

ā€œWeā€™re excited to give people a taste of a new handcrafted, customized cocktail experience with their health, safety and social distancing concerns front of mind at all times.ā€

Juke’s full menu will still be available for delivery and pick up, and of course, people can order its much-loved Southern-fried eats while visiting Chickadee too.

You can make reservations online now. Limited walk-ins are also available.
