A ton of much-loved summer events have been cancelled in and around Metro Vancouver this year, but don’t worry, we’ve got news of a delicious series that might perk you up.

The Greater Vancouver Food Truck Festival, in addition to its other scheduled events in the Lower Mainland, will be coming to Burnaby for the first time via “The Brentwood Great Takeout” series.

Presented by Grosvenor Americas, this event will be going down every second Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm starting June 20 until September 26 at 2150 Alpha Avenue in Burnaby.

The food truck events will be offering food for takeout all summer long. Cash and contactless payment will be accepted.

Organizers say vendors will rotate and that music will be added as the season goes on.
