This year has been rough for the restaurant industry, and we just received word that another one will be closing its doors.

The Asian street food restaurant Bao Down shared with Dished that it will be closing its doors, and that no future locations are planned for the brand.

Located at 115 W 2nd Ave., this Vancouver restaurant was best known for blending Asian flavours with fresh vegetables and proteins from the Pacific Northwest. Its menu includes pad Thai, poke bowls, adobo chicken, and more, in addition to baos in a variety of flavours.

In 2015, Bao Down opened its first spot in Gastown and expanded to operate multiple concepts throughout the city. However, these locations have all since closed, and this West 2nd spot is currently the brand’s last outpost.

However, there is still time to stop by for one last meal. Bao Down shared that its final day of service will be the week of Aug. 24.
