A&W is dropping its first-ever smash burger across Canada this month
A&W is joining in on the smash burger craze by dropping its first-ever smash burger across Canada later this month.
Available for a limited time, A&W will be offering a smash burger available with a single or a double smash patty that is loaded with melted cheddar cheese, pickles, sliced onions, and a secret sauce served on a toasted brioche bun.

The new smash burgers officially launch nationwide on May 25. However, Torontonians looking to get an exclusive first taste of the new offerings are able to get the handheld a little bit early.
The burger chain shared that they are giving an entire location the same “smash” treatment as its beef. Folks can visit 780 King St. W., Toronto, on Friday, May 22, from noon to 5 p.m. to visit this smashing new A&W restaurant and receive a complimentary Double Smash Burger while supplies last.
