FEATURED ON THE LISTED GUIDE
Trance music legend Armin Van Buuren returned to Vancouver last night with another historic performance. The 5 time DJ Mag DJ of the Year winner put on a show some called a “spiritual experience” with support from Lost Frequencies & Spencer Brown.

Just moments after Lost Frequencies left the stage, Armin appeared to thunderous applause. Kicking off the show with his Shapov collaboration La Résistance De L’Amour, the PNE Forum immediately felt transported to the grid from Tron.
From trance bangers to remixes of rock songs like Zombie by the Cranberries and Jump by Van Halen, Armin had something for everyone at the sold out all ages show.
Armin treated fans to hits like Ping Pong and Turn It Up, while premiering some new music by some lesser known up and coming DJs as he’s been known to do.
Armin closed his set with a heart-pounding, hard-style edit of his 2018 hit “Blah Blah Blah,” which had the whole crowd singing and bouncing along until the venue lights came on.
Two hours barely felt like enough to be in a state of trance with the biggest name in the genre. As he jets off to perform at EDC Las Vegas, Vancouver will just have to wait until next festival season, we hope.
