AKD Kitchen Soup + Goods has opened its doors in New West

A new spot for soup and curry joint just opened in Metro Vancouver, and considering the weather we’re expecting this week, the timing couldn’t be better.

AKD Kitchen Soup + Goods is now open at #120, 888 Carnarvon Street in New Westminster, the former location of Ramen Hachi.

AKD serves up soups and curries made from scratch, and if you’re lucky, you might find a ramen dish on the menu later this week.

In addition to the heartier mains, AKD has deep-fried gyoza, miso coleslaw, Japanese pickles, steamed chicken salad, and karaage available as sides.

The restaurant is currently operating under soft opening business hours Monday to Friday from 11 am to 5 pm.
