Get ready to level up.

This winter, a retro ’90s arcade bar will be paying a visit to the city.

According to event organizers, the BARcade will be coming to Vancouver in January 2020.

“BARcade is your chance to relive your youth with all your favourite arcade games at this limited edition pop-up bar,” says Event Coordinator Jessica Robson. “Get ready to be sent back in time to an era where cell phones were the size of bricks and free time was spent trying to beat the previous Pac-Man high score.”

The pop-up is said to include pop-culture trivia, Dance Dance Revolution, themed cocktails, and plenty of prizes to be won.

Not to mention what event organizers say is the World’s largest Pac-Man game.

The BARcade will be open to all ages, but minors must be accompanied by an adult.

Although ticket prices have yet to be made public, organizers say that each ticket includes a drink ticket and access to all games at the pop-up. A cash bar will also be available on site.
