Immersive holiday pop-up ‘Share Joy by Gay Lea’ returns to Toronto for 2023 Holiday season, FREE to attend
Since debuting in 2015, Yorkdale Shopping Centre’s Fashion Santa has been a top attraction for holiday shoppers.
Despite some controversy surrounding the chic holiday icon (mainly that original creator and model with magnificent beard, Paul Mason, was replaced with a younger, edgier version last year), the holiday campaign has become a worldwide sensation attracting more than 5,000 selfie-snapping shoppers in 2016 along with raising more than $30K in donations towards the SickKids Foundation.
For the 2017 season, model Jack Foley is stepping into the role of Santa with aim of capturing the imaginations “of the holiday-minded with his silver mane, sly smile and big heart.”
You can try your best to sit on Santa’s lap when he makes an appearance at the mall on December 2. Yorkdale will donate $1 to SickKids Foundation for every selfie shared using #YorkdaleFashionSanta.
