The best things in life are chocolate. No questions asked.

And for the second February in a row, Toronto will be home to a Winter Chocolate Show, for the sole reason of celebrating and indulging in this universal joy-food.

The one-day festival celebrates Canada’s craft chocolate makers. Bean-to-bar creators will be offering samples of their sweet treats and selling bars and bites.

And, if you’ve ever wanted to partake in a seminar or workshop that teaches you about tasting, working with, and the process of making chocolate… now’s your chance.

Details on this year’s seminars, taking place on event day, will be released soon.

Bean-to-bar chocolate is made starting with raw fermented and dried cacao beans. They’re roasted, and remaining cacao nibs are crushed up and combined with sugar to produce rich, complex flavours of chocolate.

To learn more about what gets your favourite treats from bean to bar, take advantage of this opportunity where you, as a chocolate lover, can connect with local chocolate makers.

Toronto’s own Chocosol Traders will be at the festival, alongside vendors from Uxbridge, Montreal, and even further across Canada.
