Channel your inner Sandra Dee at Vintage Prom in Toronto this month

Want to party like it’s 1959?

It’s time to realize all your prom-night Grease Lightning fantasies at the third annual Vintage Prom happening at The Great Hall on Saturday, January 21.

Presented by Rosie The Rebel, the theme of this year’s prom is “Socks vs. Greasers” and kicks off with a free dance lesson from Soda Pop Hop Dance Studio followed by live music from The Hip ShakersThe Dreamboats, Kitten Monroe “Toronto’s Marilyn”, jazz vocalists Alex Bird and Ivory, Rockabilly from The Greasemarks, and DJ’s sets from DJ Swankenstein and “his amazing music collection of Vinyl from the ’40s to the ’70s.

Prizes worth over $500 will be awarded to the Prom King, Prom Queen, Best Dressed, Best Dance Couple, and Best Gender Bend. Plus expect local vendors and a photobooth set up to capture all the prom awkwardness.
