Toronto is about to get an all new vegan diner
Toronto is getting a brand new vegan diner! Mythology going into the former address of The Commodore on Queen West in Parkdale.

It’s the newest restaurant from The 5700 Inc., the same folks behind the international Vegan Food & Drink Festival, The Imperative vegan retail concept store, and Doomie’s and will be helmed by Toronto’s own Doug McNish.

With the aim of redefining the traditional diner experience, the new spot will offer veganized renditions of greasy spoon classics. Look forward to a menu featuring Reuben sandwiches, Salisbury steaks, fish & chips, cinnamon bun pancakes, root beer floats, and more served alongside local craft beers, wines, and specialty cocktails.

The 36-seat diner is set to open for dinner on December 1, while lunch service will commence on December 18 and brunch will be introduced on New Years Day.
