Japanese global apparel retailer UNIQLO is gearing up to open a pop-up shop in the heart of downtown Toronto this month.

Opening at First Canadian Place on Wednesday, October 16, the location will focus on UNIQLO’s latest collections and key products with a wide range of men’s and women’s items.

The Financial District location will remain open for 12 months, and will feature a selection of the brand’s signature collections including HEATTECH, Ultra Light Down, Seamless Down, BLOCKTECH, Fleece, and flannel.

You can also expect the store’s classic jeans and knits. All together, these items make up what the brand calls LifeWear.

During the course of the pop-up, each month will focus on showcasing a different key product.

“Opening at First Canadian Place provides Canadians more access to LifeWear, with a convenient location for shopping our latest collections and key products,” said Yuichiro Kaneko, CEO of UNIQLO Canada in a release.

“We look forward to welcoming our loyal and first-time customers to this new location, to experience the true essence of LifeWear.”

There are currently 12 stores in Canada; seven of which are in the GTA at CF Toronto Eaton Centre, Yorkdale Shopping Centre, Vaughan Mills, Square One and CF Markville, Oshawa Centre, and Upper Canada Mall. An additional four are located in the Greater Vancouver Area.

The pop-up will join all other UNIQLO Canada stores in offering its All-Product Recycling Initiative, which allows customers to drop off gently used UNIQLO clothing for donation.
