Someone made a Google calendar for planned TTC subway closures
This weekend, Toronto will experience one of the usual planned TTC subway closures we’ve grown accustomed to.
But to help remind all of us of every upcoming closure this year, a local redditor put together a calendar with all of them. User jkozuch shared the calendar on Wednesday afternoon to help everyone get around.
“I quickly put this together as I (like most Torontonians) rely on the subway to get around. If this helps at least one of you, then the effort would have been worth it,” said the creator of the calendar.
For those on Google, the Google TTC Calendar is available here, and iCal users can access this calendar.
While the calendars are up to date until the end of July, this redditor is happy to share admin duties with those who want to keep adding to the calendar.
Team effort at its best.
Reaching millions of Torontonians is difficult. For example, many customers are still surprised by a weekend closure despite a year of coverage, announcements and TTC signage. We use a variety of media in the interest of helping folks avoid confusion. ^RAš
