There will be a partial closure on the TTC this weekend

Another weekend, another TTC closure.

This Saturday and Sunday, the TTC is closing two different portions of Line 1—one each day—to enable TTC crews to continue installation of the Automatic Train Control (ATC) signalling system.

According to the TTC, replacement shuttle buses will run both days and Wheel-Trans will be available upon request from any station.

Customers can speak with a TTC staff member for more information about service frequency.

Here’s what to prepare for:

Saturday

On Saturday only, the portion of Line 1 between Bloor-Yonge and Osgoode stations will be closed until noon.

All stations will remain open for fare sales and access to surface routes. TTC staff will be on hand to help direct customers to the appropriate shuttle locations, which will vary from station to station.

Sunday

On Sunday only, the portion of Line 1 between St Clair West and King stations will be closed. All stations aside from St Clair West and King will be closed on Sunday.

TTC staff will be on hand at each affected station to help direct customers to the appropriate shuttle locations, which will vary. As King Station is not yet accessible, customers requiring an accessible connection can use Queen Station instead.
