The second weekend of August is upon us, and with it comes the usual city road closures.

Like most summer weekends, there are events taking place around Toronto which will impact your weekend commute.

Taste of the Danforth

The following full road closures will be in effect to accommodate this event:

• Logan Avenue to about one block north of Danforth Avenue from 3 pm on Thursday, August 8 until 4 am on Monday, August 12.
• Danforth Avenue from Broadview Avenue to Jones Avenue from 10 am on Friday, August 9 until 4 am on Monday, August 12.
• Pape Avenue from Lipton Avenue to Hazelwood Avenue from 6 pm on Friday, August 9 until 4 am on Monday, August 12.

Feast of St. Lawrence

The following full road closures will be in effect to accommodate this event:

• Front Street East from Scott Street to Church Street starting 9 am on Friday, August 9 until 2 am on Saturday, August 10.
• Market Street from Front Street East to Wilton Street on Saturday, August 10 from 4 am to 11:30 pm.

Humber Bay Shores 8th Annual Waterfront Festival

Marine Parade Drive will be closed from Lake Shore Boulevard West to Waterfront Drive, and Waterfront Drive will be closed from Marine Parade Drive to Palace Pier Court from 10 pm on Friday, August 9 until 11:30 am on Sunday, August 11.
