TTC delays due to signal problems continue to wreak havoc on Line 1

Expect delays on the subway today as the TTC continues to experience several disruptions and signal problems.
Problems began early this morning with promises of a fast fix:
Signals failing safe (holdiong red) at St Patrick Stn southbound. Traffic very slow from Sheppard West. Additional 40 min travel time.

The TTC apologizes for this delay this morning. Crews are working hard to resolve asap.

But several hours later (a suspicious package at Bloor station certainly didn’t help things) and delays are still upwards of 30 minutes.
According to the TTC, customers on Line 1 will be experiencing 30 min travel time, southbound, between Eglinton West and Sheppard West stations due to signal problems.
Customers on Line 1 will experience an additional 30 min travel time, S/B between Eglinton West & Sheppard West Stns due to signal problems.
