Transit and transit delays expected as police respond to incident on Prince Edward Viaduct

UPDATE: Toronto Police have confirmed the medical situation on the Prince Edward Viaduct has been resolved with no injuries to anyone involved.
UPDATE: We are very pleased to say the medical situation on the Prince Edward Viaduct has been successfully resolved with no injuries to anyone involved, including First Responders. DVP will open up in both directions soon, as well as Line 2 in both directions.

Commuters should expect delays this evening as police and emergency crews are attending to a medical emergency on the Prince Edward Viaduct.

According to Toronto Police, there are multiple delays. The Don Valley Parkway is closed northbound and southbound at Bayview/Bloor.
Bloor-Danforth subway is closed between Broadview and St. George stations.

Line 2 Bloor-Danforth: No subway service between Broadview and St George due to a Toronto Police investigation. Shuttle buses are on the way, however due to heavy traffic and road closures, travel times are severely impacted.

The 65 and 71 bus routes are also impacted. Commuters can use their GO Ticket or PRESTO Card on the TTC at a staffed entrance at York Mills, Yorkdale, or Jane Street.
