A bubble tea BOGO is happening in the GTA this weekend
The GTA is about to properly welcome a new joint for bubble tea, and the spot is celebrating with a buy-one-get-one-free deal this weekend.
TP Tea, which stands for Taiwan Professional Tea, was established in 2005 and is part of the Chun Shui Tang tea house company — the original pioneer of Taiwanese milk tea.
Now, the chain is finally celebrating its opening in Canada at Commerce Gate (Unit 86-505 Highway 7 East) in Thornhill.

In March, TP Tea wasn’t able to execute a proper grand opening due to the pandemic. Now, with the arrival of Phase 2, the celebration is back on! On July 4 and 5, guests can attend the new boba shop and get a free regular-sized drink alongside the purchase of any large drink.

Boasting a deep understanding of the characteristics and proper brewing techniques of different types of tea leaves, TP Tea stands out by emphasizing the importance of sourcing high-quality tea for its boba creations,” the boba purveyor said in a release.
“Today, Toronto is packed with commercial bubble tea shops in every corner. It’s time for Torontonians to get a taste of a real complex cup of tea, with all its nuances, layers, and aromas.”
