Get ready for one chilly weekend, Toronto.
The Weather Network is forecasting some bitter cold weather starting Saturday, and lasting through Monday.
Saturday’s high will be -11°C, but will feel like -18°C. But it gets even colder on Sunday, when the high will only reach -15°C, with a wind chill making it feel more like -26°C.
The cold snap will continue through to Monday, when it will feel like -24°C in the daytime.
While it was originally forecasted to snow about 15 cm on Saturday, the snow accumulation is now predicted to be up to 5 cm, so at least it won’t be snowing while it’s freezing cold out.
Either way, you’ll need gloves. Maybe even two pairs.
Layer up, Toronto.
