Following several vigils earlier this week, a Toronto vigil will be taking place at Nathan Phillips Square on Wednesday evening.
The peaceful vigil is “to commemorate the lives lost in the attack at the Sainte-Foy, Quebec City Mosque, stand in solidarity with the families of the victims, and send a message to let the world know that we will not tolerate violence and discrimination that targets people following a different religion,” according to the event post.
