The Toronto Transit Commision (TTC) has officially launched the first phase of its “new and improved” website today with the beta release of the redesigned TTC.ca.

According to a release from the TTC, the new website is “easier to navigate and fully accessible.”

The new website will also provide users with a seamless smartphone, tablet, and desktop computer experience.

According to the website, the TTC is running beta tests before it launches the full site later this summer.

“The beta will allow us to test the functionality of the site in a live environment. You will notice that a number of features haven’t been turned on yet,” reads the website.

The features that are currently unavailable include:

  • Service alerts and diversions
  • My TTC e-services
  • Accessibility alerts
  • Search

“Because this is a test site, please continue to use the current TTC.ca for trip-planning, scheduling and service alerts,” reads the website.
