67 drivers have had their vehicles impounded after being charged with street racing in the past seven days.
The drivers were all stopped throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) by officers with provincial police, according to OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt.

Schmidt said the drivers will also receive a seven-day license suspension and a seven-day vehicle impound.
“What what is the hurry? Slow down,” he said.

Schmidt also said that 31 of these drivers were charged with street racing over the weekend.
One of these drivers also registered over two-times the legal limit of alcohol, said Schmidt.
