Feb 12 2020, 3:15 pm

Hope you brought your boots to work, Toronto, because this morning’s clear skies aren’t expected to last all day.

Snow is on the way, according to The Weather Network.

While Wednesday afternoon will offer up a mix of sun and clouds, the transition into the evening hours is projected to bring about 1 cm of snow.

Then, overnight, 1 to 3 cm of further snowfall is expected.

Thursday morning will likely begin with light snow, as well, with about 1 cm falling throughout the day’s early hours.

The afternoon will see scattered flurries, and by evening, the sky should be cloudy but with breaks of clarity.

Going into the weekend, Toronto is expected to be hit by the year’s coldest temperatures so far. So, while March may be on the horizon, don’t go swapping your winter-wear for a spring jacket just yet.
