All the Toronto road closures happening this weekend: October 18 to 20

It’s time to start planning your weekend, especially if you’re going to be heading downtown.

This weekend, there are a number of events and festivals resulting in Toronto road closures, including the Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon and the Chehlum of Imam Ali parade.

Toronto road closures this weekend

Scotiabank Waterfront Marathon

  • Bay Street, from Queen Street to Dundas Street, will be closed from Saturday, October 19 at 11 am to Sunday, October 20 at 8 pm to accommodate the start/finish line activities for the race.
  • A series of full road closures will take place on Sunday, October 20 from 4 am to 4 pm for the races.
  • These closures will occur in the area bounded by Bloor Street West in the north, Victoria Park Avenue in the east, Lake Shore Boulevard in the south and Windermere Avenue in the west. Other roads in this area will be closed periodically to accommodate the event.

Chehlum of Imam Ali parade

A number of rolling curb lane restrictions will be in effect on Saturday, October 19 from 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Roads that will be impacted include parts of McCowan Road, Middlefield Avenue, and Passmore Avenue.
