Thousands turned out in Toronto this Saturday to protest Against Islamophobia & White Supremacy at the US Consulate.
In part of the National Days of Action occurring in 42 Canadian cities, and endorsed by 140 organizations nationwide, demonstrators called on the Canadian government to
- Publically condemn President Trump’s Muslim Ban
- Open the Canada-USA border and grant permanent status to asylum seekers
- End racist, anti-refugee, anti-Black, Islamophobic exclusion of migrants and refugees
- Rescind all federal legislation that attacks racialized Black and Brown Muslims and refugees
