A huge Poutine Fest is happening in Toronto this week
Poutine Fest, a three-day food festival devoted to piles of fries, curds, and gravy is on in Toronto this week.
The iconic Quebecois dish is central to this celebration happening at Yonge-Dundas Square from Friday, May 24 until Sunday, May 26.
On Facebook, the festival is billing some 50 different types of poutine on offer.

Those in attendance include eleven visiting poutine purveyors from across Ontario and Quebec.
Look forward to innovative takes on the classic such as deep-fried cheese curds from Golden Fries out of Ottawa and Bacon Cheese Burger Poutine from Montreal’s Greg’s Diner.
