These Toronto pools are hosting an end of summer dog swim this weekend

Pool season is a wrap! And, per annual tradition, Toronto Pools will admit furry friends for a swim this weekend before draining all the water.

This year, 10 pools are participating in the ‘pawsome’ end-of-summer ritual. You can bring your doggo to any of the following locations this weekend to cool off during these dog days of summer:

Sunday, September 2 from 4 pm to 5 pm

  • Blantyre Outdoor Pool, 180 Fallingbrook Road, Scarborough
  • Halbert Outdoor Pool, 24 Rockwood Drive, Scarborough
  • Knob Hill Outdoor Pool, 625 Brimley Road, Scarborough
  • Goulding Outdoor Pool, 45 Goulding Avenue, North York
  • Ledbury Outdoor Pool, 160 Ledbury Street, North York
  • High Park Outdoor Pool, 1873 Bloor Street West, Toronto
  • Rotary Outdoor Pool, 25 Eleventh Street, Etobicoke

Sunday, September 2 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm

  • Greenwood Outdoor Pool209 Alton Avenue, Toronto
  • Monarch Park Outdoor Pool, 115 Felstead Avenue, Toronto
  • Stanley Outdoor Pool, 76 Walnut Avenue, Toronto

Per the event page posted by Toronto Parks, Forestry and Recreation, all dogs must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older, and each adult can only bring two dogs max. Dog owners are also asked to bring proof of current vaccinations and toys to donate to Toronto Animal Services Shelters.
