Police looking for 6 suspects involved in attempted murder case at Yorkdale

Toronto police are looking to identify 6 people involved in an investigation into an attempted murder at Yorkdale Shopping Centre.

According to police, on Monday June 26, six people at Yorkdale became involved in a physical altercation with a 17-year-old boy. As a result of this physical altercation, the boy was stabbed numerous times, and was hit with a baton which resulted in serious injuries.

The suspects are described as:

1) Male, black, light-skinned, approximately 15-18, approximately 6′, medium-to-heavy build, last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, red shirt, armed with a knife

2) Male, black, dark-skinned, approximately 15-18, prescription glasses, last seen wearing a dark-coloured ROOTS hooded sweatshirt, armed with a collapsible baton

3) Female, white, thin build, approximately 15-18, long straight dark hair, last seen wearing a Levi’s T-shirt, yellow hooded sweatshirt

4) Male, white, olive complexion, approximately 15-18, last seen wearing a white-brimmed baseball hat, blue hooded sweatshirt

5) Male, black, light-skinned, approximately 15-18, short dark curly hair, prescription glasses, last seen wearing a grey hooded jacket, white T-shirt, grey pants

6) Male, white, olive complexion, approximately 15-18, wearing prescription glasses, last seen wearing two-toned blue hooded jacket, backpack with orange straps

Police are saying that these people should be considered armed and dangerous.
