59-year-old man posing as talent scout arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting boy

A 59-year-old Toronto man has been arrested and charged after an alleged assault on a 13-year-old boy.

According to Toronto police, a man posed as a talent scout in 2001.

At the time, a 13-year-old boy was allegedly offered a performance role in exchange for gifts and money.

Police added that the boy was sexually assaulted on one occasion in Scarborough.

James Alcock has been arrested and has been charged with Sexual Assault and Sexual Interference with Person Under 14 Years of Age.

According to Toronto Police, a sexual assault is any form of unwanted sexual contact. It includes, but is not limited to, kissing, grabbing, oral sex, and penetration.
