Here is what's open and closed in Toronto on Labour Day

While Monday, September 3, is a holiday, a number of attractions and businesses will be open throughout the city on Labour Day.

Per usual, government offices including Canada Post offices and City Hall will be closed along with banks and libraries.

On Monday, the TTC will operate on its holiday service schedule. This means all TTC routes will operate on their Sunday service schedules but will start earlier, at approximately 6 am. Any routes that do not normally operate on Sundays, will not operate on the holiday.

Keep in mind some malls are closed on Labour Day Monday including Yorkdale Mall, Scarborough Town Centre, Bayview Village Shops, CF Fairview Mall, CF Sherway Gardens, and Dufferin Mall.

Many grocery stores will be open citywide, though many will operate on holiday hours. Make sure to call your local grocer ahead of time and double check their schedule.

While all Beer Stores will be closed on Monday to observe Labour Day, all stores will be open regular hours on Sunday.

LCBO stores pride August long weekend

On Saturday and Sunday, all LCBO locations will observe their normal business hours. On Labour Day Monday, all locations will be closed across the province.
