15 Movember events worth checking out in Toronto this month

It’s officially moustache month gentlemen, which means you’re allowed to get away with growing your best Tom Selleck-inspired cookie duster.
Movember — the charity that raises awareness for prostate and testicular cancer —has just kicked off and all month long, men from all over the globe will begin to grow their finest ‘stashes in solidarity and in support of the cause.

Whether you’re planning on growing your own Mo or you’re looking for other ways to get involved, there are events throughout the month that show support for the cause. Check out these upcoming Movember events in Toronto.
The Flannel 5k
What: Dust off those flannels and get ready to join one of Movember’s Move events as you run 5K through downtown Toronto. The route begins at Maple Leaf Square and will end at Mascot Brewery for some 5K reward beverages. Whether you walk, run, jog or bike, you’re invited to show off your Mo.
When: November 4, 2 pm

Movember House Extravaganza
What: Rowe Mo Bros and Sistas are hosting the 2nd annual Movember House Extravaganza this month This is a night for you to meet awesome people, get a couple drinks and be a part of an incredible cause. All $20 RSVP donations and drink purchases will go directly to the Movember Foundation. Bring your best staches and get ready to have a good time.

#ManUp Movember Pop up
What: You might already be rocking your Mo, but are you rocking your Mo gear? Head to Brimz on November 9 for the official release of Brimz X Jukebox Movember caps. DJ Macri will be spinning to set the mood, and there will also be Lost Craft beer and special giveaways with a portion of hate sales going to support the Movember Foundation.

Hairy 10th Birthday
What: The Movember Foundation is excited to celebrate its highs, lows, its biggest successes, its most impactful stories and most of all, its amazing Mo Community this month. On November 10, you’re invited to attend the Movember Foundation’s 10th birthday party which will be filled with food, games, prizes and a lot of FUN.

Sunday Funday 3.0
What: Toronto’s premiere experience app Jukebox will be hosting its monthly Sunday Funday installation on November 12, with this month’s party focusing on Movember. Grab your bros and perfect your Mos, this is one party you won’t want to miss.

Guys’ Night In
What: It’s time for the guys to enjoy a little pampering. Guys’ Night In is a fun evening of relaxing massages, brow treatments, beer, pizza, games, freebies, and prizes, hosted by Merchant Sons and Peregrine Supply Co. All donations will go towards supporting the Movember Foundation.

Mo’Hacks Toronto: Innovating for Men’s Health
What: ProtoHack has partnered with the Movember Foundation to host Mo’Hacks, an event dedicated to innovating men’s health at Toronto’s Red Academy.

Movember Bourbon Tasting Jamboree
What: Moustaches and bourbon, what more could one want? Toronto’s Home of the Brave has partnered with Buffalo Trace to host an awesome bourbon tasting and party to support Movember this month and you won’t want to miss it.
When: November 24, 6 pm to 2 am

Moustache Bash
What: Come and show off your Mo at the 2017 Moustache Bash. Aside from live music, there will also be moustache themed merch available, a ”Best Moustache’ competition, 50/50 raffle, and much more with all proceeds going to The Movember Foundation.

Muaystache: #PushKickCancer
What: Back Forward Kick and In Fight Style have teamed up to host Muaystache: #PushKickCancer, a Muaythai Ontario sanctioned amateur Muaythai event in support of the Movember Foundation. This event sets out to make a difference by capturing an audience and putting men’s health at centre stage.

Movember Stache Bash
What: There’s no better place to show off your Mo than at the Movember Stache Bash! Come raise some money for a great cause, drink some craft brews, try to win some raffle prizes or the 50/50 draw, and enter the Mr. and Mrs. Movember contest.

Mo Trivia 5.0
What: If you’re a fan of trivia, you might want to check out Mo Trivia 5.0 this month. Test your knowledge and show your support. The organizer has suggested a $20 donation, which will be donated to the Movember Foundation.

Jukebox Presents: Mustachio
What: Men with mustaches, what more could you need? In support of Movember, Toronto’s premiere experience app Jukebox is hosting a pop-up at the Addison. Guests can enjoy libations from the Redbull cocktail lab, check out the Redbull ESPORTS section as well as shop at the Brimz pop-up.

Best MO in T.O.
What: It’s been a long month growing your Mo, so why not show it off? The Best MO in T.O. celebrates and raise awareness for men’s health through an evening of activities including the moustache competition, raffle prizes, games, live music, food and drinks, and of course, the barber shave following the competition.
