Toronto is getting an incredibly luxurious urban resort this fall (PHOTOS)
Canada’s most ambitious hotel is set to open in Toronto this fall.
Deemed an “urban resort,” the 406-room Hotel X promises to deliver “the most cutting edge mix of hospitality, sports and entertainment options ever assembled in an urban setting.”
Having taken a look through the extensive photo gallery, we have no counterargument.
It would honestly be easier to list amenities not a part of the 30-story project, which will find an address inside the historic Princes’ Gates at Exhibition Place.
An indoor/outdoor rooftop pool (80 feet), 243-seat cinema, seven (!) dining concepts, lavish garden, many bars, a luxurious three-story sky lounge, permanent archeological exhibition, and art gallery are all part of the package.
Oh, and a little thing called Ten X – a 90,000-square foot athletic complex that boasts a rooftop pool, squash courts, tennis courts with 50-foot ceilings, state-of-the-art weight and cardio machines, classes, physiotherapy, golf simulators, a children’s center, and a full-service spa with literally everything.
There will also be pilates and hot yoga studios and a physiotherapy and chiropractic clinic.

But wait, there’s more: 11 meeting rooms, two ballrooms, another cinema in addition to the full theatre, a couple more places to get fit, and, who could forget, stunning views of Lake Ontario.
The only downside? Guests may never leave the premises to actually explore the city.
Hotel X Toronto is located at 111 Princes’ Boulevard.
