What: Let’s do the Time Warp Agaiiinnnnnn! This comedy horror and cult classic tells the story of newly engaged couple Brad Majors and Janet Weiss, who meet a group of strange individuals. Sold-out for seven years in a row, you can’t miss this Halloween spectacle, live on stage.

Dark Waters

What: Splash into Dark Waters on October 25. This 19+ event will send chills through your gills as you explore the dark side of the aquarium. Beware of creatures from the deep because this is not your average Halloween party. Halloween at Arcane

What: King Street’s hottest new venue is throwing not one, but three Halloween bashes this year. The Unknown is a ticketed costume event taking place on October 25, the Innocence masquerade is on the 26, and the Eyes Wide Shut masquerade on the 31.

Howl’oween at The Bentway

What: The Bentway is hosting Howl’oween (read: a dog-in-costume parade) on October 26. The site, in collaboration with Bark ‘n Yapp, is inviting local pups and their owners to participate in the event complete with loot bags, prizes, treats, and local vendors.

The Haunted Hotel at The Thompson

What: Just in time for Halloween, the Thompson will be transformed into a one of a kind spooky experience – the entire hotel is being taken over from the Wildflower to the Lobby. This Haunted Halloween is complete with DJ’s, candy tables, cocktails, and of course costume competitions.

Redemption Paws Halloween Bash

What: Dogs in costumes, music, prizes, food, drinks, and more dogs — what could possibly be better than this? Perhaps that you can enjoy all of these things at Toronto’s largest Halloween party for dogs this month.

Trick or Drink

What: Calling all ghouls, goblins, witches, and warlocks. It’s time to prepare for a haunting night out. Because Barcrawlerz is taking over Toronto this month, for a multi-day bar crawl completely revolving around Halloween. During the crawl you’ll get the chance to float through Belfast Love, Dublin Calling, Rock ‘N’ Horse Saloon, and many more, decked out in full costume.

Halloween at MARBL

What: Leave it to Marbl to host a four-day Halloween celebration. On October 26, 30, and 31, you can join Marbl in celebrating the spookiest day of the year. They’ll also be hosting “Day of the Dead” on November 2. No tickets are required for any of the events, but entry will be on a first come first served basis, so make sure to get there early.

Halloween at Petty Cash

What: Petty Cash is so excited for Halloween that they’ll be throwing two different parties this year. To kick it off, they’ll be hosting “Saturday Night Fever, Dead or Alive” on October 26 and the party will continue on October 31, with a “Get Lit” themed event. Both events are first-come-first-serve and free to attend.

What: The Pint will be hosting Halloween festivities on October 26 and October 31. On Saturday, The Pint will be hosting its first-ever 90s themed costume party. Then, on October 31, The Pint will be bringing you your favourite tunes, $5 beers, $4 shots, and a prize for the best costume. Tickets for both events are $15 and can be purchased online.

Ghost Stories Live

What: If you don’t feel like going to a party this year, you can still get into the spooky spirit at this live ghost story reading. The event will feature storytellers telling (mostly) true stories about eerie things that happened to or near them. Featuring some of True Stories Told Live’s previous favourites and a few new faces, plus the annual and ever-popular Ghostbusters theme singalong.

Halloween on Church

What: On Hallow’s Eve, the Village will be shutting down six blocks of Church Street to host a massive pedestrian-only Halloween party, that’s known for being the largest Halloween party in North America. The fun begins at 6:30 pm, and the Village’s shops, cafés and bars will be bumping all night long. All are welcome, and it’s highly recommended that you wear a costume.

A Night At The Bronze: Buffy Tribute Night

What: Calling all Buffy the Vampire fans! You can enjoy a live-reading of one of the show’s more popular episodes at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, followed by an all-night 90s dance party as Buddies transforms into the iconic teen bar, The Bronze.

Broadview Hotel Halloween Party

What: You can get your spook on this Halloween at The Broadview Hotel. The iconic hotel will be throwing the ultimate Halloween rooftop party. Set with a DJ and Halloween costume competition, the party is set to be a devilishly good time. Make sure to dress to impress and donate a minimum of $5 to Red Door Shelter to be entered into the competition for a chance to win a one night stay at The Broadview Hotel.

Celebraciones De Los Santos at Baro

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in Concert

What: Just in time for Halloween, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in Concert is coming to Meridian Hall, so get your costumes ready. Fans of all ages can experience the thrilling tale of Harry’s obsession with a mysterious potions book accompanied by the music of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra performing Nicholas Hooper’s score LIVE as Harry soars across the big screen in HD.
