There's a huge garlic festival in Toronto next month

It’s called ‘the stinking rose’ but it’s far more than just a good nickname.

Garlic is a household staple, and it’s what gives food that delicious kick (in our humble opinion.) And next month, The Toronto Garlic Festival celebrates this local harvest and all its goodness.

The annual event has Ontario farmers and local chefs getting together to cook with garlic, and visitors can taste delicious garlic-themed dishes prepared by chefs and paired with Ontario wine and craft beer.

The festival includes live music, film screenings, talks and demos, free garlic shots and the Garlic Breath Contest. YUM.
