In need of a quick getaway?
Have a few thousand dollars to spend?
Masquerading as a royal prince from a foreign land?
Well, you’ve come to the right place.
We’ve teamed up with Expedia.ca to put together the most luxurious, most expensive, and most marbled hotel rooms that Toronto has to offer.
- 10 hotel bathrooms around the world that are bigger than your Toronto apartment
- This is what the King Edward Hotel’s newly restored Crystal Ballroom will look like
- Behind the real-life locations of some of the world's most famous paintings
These places will make you feel like your sleeping on stacks of cash — though if you want to experience that literally, you’ll have to bring your own.
(Note: These prices are approximates, as they are subject to change by day of the week, month, or season.)
The Ritz-Carlton – Ritz-Carlton Suite
What you’ll get: Club lounge access for you and a guest, a lake view, and all the extras that the Ritz has to offer. We’re talking room service, laundry, a valet, dessert… You’ve never been pampered like this before.
Comes with an enormous 2,415 sq ft, 3 tvs, and complimentary cocktails — can’t go wrong with those.
Four Seasons Hotel – Royal Suite
What you’ll get: This is the largest suite at Four Seasons Toronto, and also sits at the highest floor. If you get all three bedrooms, it ends up being a massive 3,305 sq ft, with a long living and dining room opened even further by huge windows.
Comes with a private office, “fantasy” bathrooms, and a private bar.
The Hazelton Hotel – The Avenue Suite
What you’ll get: A dressing room practically made of mirrors, a 47″ television, and an additional powder room. It really kicks into 12th gear in the en suite washroom, as there is heated floors, a rainfall shower, and — get this — a tv built into the mirror.
Comes with 1,236 sq ft of comfort, a stylish aesthetic, and a bed made for kings.
What you’ll get: Feel free to move right on in. This suite lives up to its name, with a living room, a dining room, and the ability to accommodate up to ten people. Throw in 3 tvs and a private terrace, and you’ll never want to move out (it would only be around $33,000/month rent anyway).
Comes with 1,500 sq ft, natural light, and this insane shower.
Shangri-La Hotel – Shangri-La Suite
What you’ll get: Sometimes you want to feel a little removed from the bustle of the city, and that’s where this suite comes in. A sophisticated taste of Asia graces the furnishings of Shangri-La’s best suite, with Japanese lattice screens and authentic decor, you’ll be finding your zen in no time.
Comes with 2,200 sq ft, the option of incorporating in another suite, and a walk in closet.
Soho Metropolitan Hotel – Penthouse Suite
Price: $5,000/night (+$20,000 security deposit)
What you’ll get: Why settle for just the top floor, when you could have three? This penthouse suite boasts more floors than most single family homes, and you won’t even have to break a sweat traversing the three levels as it comes with a handy glass elevator. Lounge in the library, entertain in either of the two living rooms, or hang out in the rooftop hottub; anywhere you are will feel like a dream.
Comes with an astounding 4,000 sq ft across 3 floors, multiple fireplaces, and a 65″ cinema on the third floor.
The Thompson Hotel – Penthouse Suite
What you’ll get: Spend your time at the top of Toronto by playing some billiards on the private in-suite table. Or maybe kick back and watch some movies from the built in library. You could always just gaze out the window at the 270 degree view of the city. Whatever you choose will be in your favour, regardless.
Comes with marble — and thermal — bathroom floors, a full kitchen, and an eight seat dining room. Not to mention some stylish, modern furniture.
