World Press Photo Exhibit

Wolverine Warehouse Sale

What: Starting on Wednesday, there’s a huge Wolverine Worldwide warehouse sale happening near Toronto. Shop from brands like Saucony, Keds, and Sperry to name a few, in addition to Levy Canada, who will be selling hundreds of winter coats for great prices.

When: October 10 to 14

Cannabis celebration at Yonge-Dundas Square

What: The federal legalization of cannabis is just over a week away and Up Cannabis, an Ontario-based licensed producer, is celebrating with a free event at Yonge-Dundas Square.  Highlights include a performance by Choir!Choir!Choir!, with a special tribute to Gord Downie featuring Tragically Hip band members Rob Baker and Johnny Fay. There will also be an installation called the “UPside Down House” which encourages a new perspective on cannabis.
